I visited this restaurant for the first time today and had the "Spicy Tortuga De Pollo". It's the absolute best thing I've eaten in Shreveport in my 4 years here. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming.

Second time eating there and it won't be my last! I live in Tampa and now anytime I head to Shreveport, this will be my first stop.

Absolutely amazing food. We had the guacamole, poblano and chichi something tacos, then split a seasonal flan. We love this place. Our waiter Dani is great. She checked on us regularly, kept our drinks coming and made great recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Solid taco spot local to Shreveport. Located near the more hip part of town. Parking is available and pretty accessible. Service was initially slow but it was friendly once it got going. A few different tacos off of their menu was tried and a torta was also ordered. Enjoyed most of their tacos besides the fish taco; the pollo torta was good but just not my style with the heavy helping of the pickled veggies and queso fresco. Food quality is decent, only comment is that the prices there are a bit steep at the $5-6/taco range for street tacos compared to what I've ordered recently/used.

Stopped in to get the burger here, but they only serve them on Wednesdays, so I guess I'll be back next Wednesday. I did get the special of the day Bierria tacos. They were amazing crispy, not as soaked in consomé as I like them but still good. Service is pretty good there. I've had a bad experience in a lot of restaurants here in Shreveport Bossier area but this was good. I love the ambience there and I think it would be great during spring or winter when it's not so hot and I can sit on the patio. Great decor, upscale Mexican, gourmet food.

Notes: 1) been here a lot 2) pretty famous 3) great amount of space Pros: 1) really great service 2) food tastes really good 3) lots of seating and great ambiance 4) great daily specials Cons: 1) pretty packed usually 2) some specials are not it 3) not many menu items Rating: 5/5 Did not account for specials and smaller menu The reason this place is famous is pretty evident. The few food options are really good. The service has always been amazing. The ambiance and atmosphere is nice too. It usually is a more chill vibe but can be great for dates and such with the outside seating. I had tried most of the tacos and it's pretty good for the most part. I don't usually get the tacos as I don't really think the price is worth it. Don't get me wrong, the tacos were amazing. The poblano and chinchito tacos were great. The cream of the poblano was amazing and added a lot of amazing flavor to the meat. The chinchito was spicy but it was worth the kick. The mushroom taco was pretty tasty for being purely vegetarian. My favorite is definitely the aquacate. What a sándwich! It's really nice and the flavors blend so well together. Oh man. I dream of it. The chicken aquacate is good too but doesn't really add much to the already amazing sandwich. The salmon tostada is pretty good too but I think that it's not worth the cost. The dips appetizer was okay. Not better than other places. For the dailies, the ramen is hit or miss. For the 15 dollar (old price), it wasn't worth it. The birria is pretty worth it. It's only Thursdays I believe and it's great. I have not had the hamburgers on Wednesday but they look good. There's a few other dailies but I haven't had those. Overall, it's a must go and must try in Shreveport. Like for real, go now. At the time of writing this, there may not be electricity but still go anyways cause why not.

In my humble opinion: I arrived in between lunch and dinner, and yet the parking was full and there were several tables enjoying the outdoor seating. Warm and sunny the weather was amazing. Curb appeal was inviting but not amazing. The signage needs more pizzazz. Looks old and small and non-descript. I sat outside and was greeted by Kyle. I kinda thought he was cute. And he was easy to talk to. Answering my questions. Etc I ordered a Ghost in the machine. A beer that has a very deep citrusy (grapefruit) flavor. $6 - The Taco de Camarone ($6) was absolutely amazing. Best taco I've ever had. I'd give it 5 stars but when I was presented with it I was shocked and appalled at the size. Tiny little fellow. But I figured it was no different than a two taco plate at other places and honestly it was an amazing taco. All in all I will be back to try more and take friends and family to try it out too.

I was home in Shreveport for Memorial Day weekend and it was Taco Tuesdayyyyy! So I headed up to Ki Mexico Soul Food! The reviews of this place are great so I had to try it. Started off with the Calaverita. Their happy hour is from 4-7 and the drink was $3.00 off. Hibiscus, tequila, a lemon slice. What more do you need? It was very refreshing. I had three tacos: the poblano, bisté and cochinita. My fave of the three was poblano. I got frijoles prietos. Everything was well seasoned and flavorful. This place was a pleasant surprise. The service was quick and friendly and the music and atmosphere was great. However, I wish there was more booth seating. Where I was located felt like it was a little too close to the front door. It's in a plaza so there was more than enough parking and I will definitely come back. They do ramen on Tuesdays which is very cool so I want to try that!
